What it does
Ray-traced reflections can show off-screen objects and improve stability, but the cost is very high on handheld-class GPUs.
Games may also call it: RT Reflections
Decision guide
Lower it when
Disable it when reflective scenes cause major drops or require a very low internal resolution.
Keep it high when
Keep it for a deliberate low-FPS quality mode when reflections are central to the game.
Handheld advice
Use SSR or a lower RT quality before sacrificing the entire frame-rate target.
Restart
Usually not required
Some games still apply changes only after reloading a scene or restarting.
Do not overread the meter
Roughness cutoffs and reflection resolution can change the cost substantially.
